Public Forum:: Whenever a biker is lost to the road, remember these words.
It is the will of God and Nature that these mortal bodies be laid aside, when the soul is to enter into real life; 'tis rather an embrio state, a preparation for living; a man is not completely born until he be dead: Why then should we grieve that a new child is born among the immortals? ~Benjamin Franklin, 22 February 1756

Public Forum:: Weekly Poll: Sons Of Anarchy
It's a dramatized soap opera full of bullshit that only appeals to those who want to be like them. and set's the atmosphere for those who already dislike the biker image to establish laws and outlooks which do not support our lifestyle. Fun to watch, if you have a deep rooted mindset for reality v.s. Hollywood. It may have happened, might still be happening, but it's not the majority of clubs out there running guns and killing people like Soprano want-a-be's. Of course it takes societies minds off of the mafia, by the way which does not exist anymore. wink! wink!

Myspace sexual predator - this is for real [by lola]

Public Forum:: Myspace sexual predator - this is for real
Ladies please beware of this man

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=386012591

He goes by Charliehorse on myspace and his name is Charlie Kolosic. He lives in Aurora and he is a sexual predator of adult females. He is also bipolar and suicidal, prone to violence and likely riddled with STD's.

His typical hangout is the Iliff Park Saloon or at home taking a cocktail of illegally obtained prescriptions with a fifth of hard liquor. He has no regard for the mix of pills he takes and will often try to give them to you as well.

He has a history with myspace women with 3 or more in the balance, sleeping with all (unprotected), all the while professing his undying love for you. He will cancel a long scheduled date with you because his mother took her last living breath and other such long tales.

He will contact you randomly, months and even years in this case, after you have figured out his MO to profess his love for you. If you deny him, he will threaten you with bodily violence, violence against your home, car, or other property, and call you everything but a white woman. This man is NOT TO BE TRUSTED in any fashion.

THIS IS NOT A JOKE! I currently have the Jeffco Sheriff's Department and the Aurora Police Department investigating him and his behavior over the internet (which btw is a felony to threaten violence over the internet).

This video was sent to me by my father, and now I would like to pass it on to all of you. This video is awesome, all I ask is to never forget those who have given their lives for our freedoms.

www.youtube.com/v/QZFkZiwMLZ4

Taink

Just a Biker!! [by Taink]

Public Forum:: Just a Biker!!
I saw this on a bulletin on my myspace...and I felt it hit home. I hope you enjoy it as I did.

Body: THIS REALLY DOES SUM IT UP

I saw you, hug your purse closer to you in the grocery
store line. But you didn't see me put an extra $10.00
in the collection plate last Sunday.

I saw you pull your child closer when we passed each
other on the sidewalk. But you didn't see me playing
Santa at the local mall.

I saw you change your mind about going into the
restaurant when you saw my bike parked out front.
But you didn't see me attending a meeting to raise
more money for the hurricane relief.

I saw you roll up your window and shake your head
when I rode by. But you didn't see me riding behind
you when you flicked your cigarette butt out the car window.

I saw you frown at me when I smiled at your children.
But you didn't see me, when I took time off from work
to run toys to the homeless.

I saw you stare at my long hair. But you didn't see me
and my friends cut ten inches off for Locks of Love.

I saw you roll your eyes at our leather jackets and
gloves. But you didn't see me and my brothers donate
our old ones to those that had none.

I saw you look in fright at my tattoos. But you didn't
see me cry as my children where born or have their
name written over and in my heart.

I saw you change lanes while rushing off to go
somewhere. But you didn't see me going home to be with my family.

I saw you, complain about how loud and noisy our bikes
can be. But you didn't see me when you were changing
the CD and drifted into my lane.

I saw you yelling at your kids in the car. But you
didn't see me pat my child's hands knowing she was safe behind me.

I saw you reading the newspaper or map as you drove
down the road. But you didn't see me squeeze my wife's
leg when she told me to take the next turn.

I saw you race down the road in the rain. But you
didn't see me get soaked to the skin so my son could
have the car to go on his date.

I saw you run the yellow light just to save a few
minutes of time. But you didn't see me trying to turn right.

I saw you cut me off because you needed to be in
the lane I was in. But you didn't see me leave the road.

I saw you, waiting impatiently for my friends to
pass. But you didn't see me. I wasn't there.

I saw you go home to your family. But you didn't
see me. Because I died that day you cut me off.

I was just a biker. A person with friends and a
family. But you didn't see me.

Repost this around in hopes that people will
understand the biker community.

If you don't repost this, it sucks to be you. I hope
you never loose someone that rides.

EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE US, RESPECT OUR RIGHTS TO
RIDE WHAT WE CHOOSE AND TAKE A FEW EXTRA SECONDS
TO BE SURE WE ARE NOT IN 'YOUR' WAY!

I agree, I send out my utmost thanks to those that have served past and present. To my fallen brothers that faught next to me. Please anytime you see a service member spend and extra second to stop and show them your appreciation. There arent enough people in the states thanking them for our freedom. Just one simple thank you and hand shake speaks more than a million words to a service man. Thank you to our Armed Forces..Ooh Rah and Semper Fi Taink

CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE DAY IN AMERICA [by Slim]

Public Forum:: CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE DAY IN AMERICA
There were no parties or fireworks to mark the signing of the Declaration of Independence. There are accounts, however, of a parade of Battalions, a gun salute, and cheers from the crowd after the public reading of the Declaration of Independence on July 8, 1776.

John Adams predicted that the July 4 would be an annual day of rejoicing. He expected the holiday to be celebrated with parades, games, sports, balls and bonfires. The first grand birthday celebration occurred in Philadelphia on July 4, 1777. Bonfires blazed, bells rang and bands played patriotic music. Fireworks were exploded, ships fired 13 gun salutes (to salute the thirteen colonies) and every house in the city displayed a candle in the front window.
